Asda was fined $800,00 for ignoring Food Safety norms

An Asda store at Park Royal branch, London, was fined around $800,00 for ignoring Food Safety norms and putting customer’s health at risk by not maintaining the hygiene of store.

It has been reported that people had started complaining one year ago after a customer received mouse poo in the bag of fours and other packed items.

In another report, it has been cleared that Pest Control visited the store more than 72 times but nothing happened.

The situation became worse when a customer saw a frozen mouse at the entrance of the walk-in freezer.

Even Asda had accepted the charges of ignoring Food Safety norms and for that, the court had fined $800,000.
