Court Orders Farmer to Take Home a Train as Compensation
A 45-year-old, from Ludhiana, India has really won a 300-meter long train after the court made it his “property”.
It has been reported that the man, Sampuran Singh, a resident of village Katana in Punjab, moved to court seeking compensation from Northen Railways in a land acquiring case.
Actually, the railways failed to compensate him properly which forced him to go to court.
On last Wednesday, the court gave its verdict and made the train Swarna Shatabdi Express his “property” which runs from Amritsar to New Delhi.
He immediately after the verdict went to the station and claimed his property.
Luckily, the court dismissed its order and the train as of now is court’s property.
