Creator of Freddy Krueger, Wes Craven, dies at the age of 76

Well known director, and mostly popular for his creation, Freddy Krueger, in the ‘Nightmare on Elm Street’, Wes Craven, died on Sunday at the age of 76.

It’s been reported that he had been suffering from brain cancer for several years.

Wes Craven helped in bringing the new style of horror movies, especially in 70s and 80s. His best given movies are “Scream” movies, “The Last House on the Left” and “The People under the Stairs”.

He was born in the 1939 and lived whole life in Massachusetts, until he turned to Los Angeles permanently around a three years ago for health and work reason.

He worked hard all his life but the creation of Freddy Krueger brought him in new lights.
