Facebook provides new way to avoid ‘targeted ads’

Facebook came up with a new way for their users to avoid the ‘targeted ads’ over Facebook.

It’s been reported that earlier to block ads, users were needed to go through settings but now onwards users would get an option right at the ads to avoid it.

Facebook’s global deputy chief privacy officer, Stephen Deadman, explained that last year they had introduced ads which were based on what users’ searching over internet.

“Suppose a user wants to buy TV, and he already has searched about the device over internet then the Facebook would also show the ads regarding the TV”, he added.

“And to block these ads, you not need to go through settings always, you can do this just from the ads panel itself”, he added.
