Illinois Man Sues McDonald’s for Overcharging Extra Value Meal
An Illinois man has sued the McDonald for spreading ‘false advertisements’ about the Extra Meal.
It has been reported that the man, James Gertie, bought two-cheeseburger Extra Value Meal for $5.90. After some time, he realized that it is actually 41 cents more than buying two cheeseburger, fries, and a drink separately.
He said in a talk with Daily Herald “It is not about the money, which I had paid extra for the meal, but it is all about the principles”.
He added, “I had bought the same meal at five different locations and surprisingly every store charged 41 cents extra”.
“I even went to check the price at 25 other stores and most of them were charging extra”, he added at last.
