Lexus launches world’s first drivable origami car

By on

A car company, Lexus have recently launched a model called Lexus IS, which is a luxury compact car – but they have even made an origami car (made up of papers), replica of the same model, which is amazingly drivable.

Here origami stands as the art of paper folding – and so the company has built a car made up of cardboards and it is drivable.

Company say that the idea of design was inspired by the group of employee, the takumi, who prove their skills by creating an origami cat with their ‘bad’ hand.

The car has an electric engine along with the fully functioning headlights, doors and wheels, in short it’s drivable.

Car is currently being held on display at the Grand Designs Live Show in Birmingham on Thursday.
