Rare Disease Turning Woman’s Muscle Tissue into Bone
A 23-year-old woman is going through the hardest time of life as she can’t walk or speak properly just because of a rare condition, which is turning her muscle tissue into bone.
It has been reported that the Jasmin Floyd, of Danielson, Connecticut, was fibrodysplasia ossificans progressiva (FOP) when she was just 18 years old.
Her mother said in a talk that when Jasmin was born, she had a bunion on her big toe and also small bumps over her head and spine.
At that time, no one knew about this condition but a few years later, the condition started to show its nature.
Jasmin can only open her mouth for a centimeter.
But, in a fight to disease, she has developed several unique ways to get simple tasks done by her own.
