Toyota Launches Robotic leg to help Paralyzed People Walk
The Japanese company, Toyota, has introduced a robotic leg brace for paralyzed people as it will help them to walk again.
The device, Welwalk WW-1000, is made up of a motorized mechanical frame, which fits into the patient’s leg comfortably.
On Wednesday, the company demonstrated the robotic leg to the reporters and also explained its capabilities.
As per as company’s official, around hundred of these legs will be made available at medical facilities in Japan later this year.
Another report explains that a one-time charge of $9,000 as well as a monthly charge of $3,200 has to be paid in order to use this robotic leg brace.
