Paralyzed Monkeys Can Walk again after a Brain Implant

By on

Paralyzed monkeys or injured monkeys can walk again after a brain implant and recently a successful test has been completed.

It’s been reported that the technology transmits a signal wirelessly to bring movement in their paralyzed or injured legs.

A researcher, however, explained that the test has already been successful in controlling robotic arms but this is the first time when this kind (primate walk) of research became successful.

Another researcher said that the technology is very far from being used in humans, but yet this is a huge success in the field.
