Stubborn Swan Forced Train to Crawl for 2 Miles

By on

Friday morning wasn’t good for the commuters who travel from South West Trains because a train was late.

Well, the reason wasn’t weather or some other ‘important’ stuff, but it was a stubborn swan, who forced the train to crawl at the speed of 2 miles per hour for two miles.

Actually, the swan wasn’t leaving the track and hence the train was moving slow, very slow.

When the train entered into the platform, one passenger couldn’t see this (as he was in super hurry), so he jumped on the track and tried to manhandle the situation.

It was only then, the swan left the track and people got relieved.

The officials have later tweeted “Swan has been released happy and well. It did apologize for the delays while with our staff – JS”.
